Think I'm gonna miss this one as I proposed to the missus this morning and now we're off to celebrate.

Best of luck to the lads, come on you Shrimps!

I assume A W is ill/ injured
New keeper gets a start
As well a Slew, ??
Halfway or so through the season and still hasn’t done enough to warrant a new contract

That's bad planning. You could have waited until tomorrow, then you could still have watched the game.

Sorry, what I meant was 'congratulations!'

Have to say that in my opinion (worth nowt... ) Slew doesn't deserve a place in the starting eleven.

By all accounts McAlinden put some life into the team when he came on the other night and for me should have started today.

I respect DA but can't for the life of me see how he can constantly picks Slew on performances to date. Hope he proves me wrong this afternoon.

At the very least not out wide. He looked fairly decent as a Stockton replacement, but I'm not sure he's ever had a good game on the wing

Is it my eyesight or another kit clash, their goalkeeper in red? Does it look different in person? Because they definitely look similar on my TV

iFollow lads chatting about Ipswich fans who adopted us after our FA Cup games, coming to watch us when we played down south, if Ipswich didn't have a game.

That included coming to Wembley!

Re Slew some of you really don’t understand the way Derek likes to play. ‘Wide’ players are very rarely out wide but tasked with tucking in and letting the full backs overlap. They also have massive defensive responsibility dropping into fullback when the opposition is attacking down the opposite side where the actual fullback tucks in to almost be a third centre back. Slew is an absolute master at this. Big reason why Ellison didn’t play as he could not play this role

Listening only today, can I ask what gets a second slice of a cherry means? Occasionally I come across phrases I've not heard before and don't understand what it means haha.

Normally "second bite of a cherry", means having another go at something

We've just not got started today, they've hit both posts and I don't think we've had a decent chance yet

Need to change things while we're still level. Colchester hit the post twice and have had a couple of half chances. We started well, but not making any real chances, other than one long shot. Hope we don't wait until we're losing.

Absolutely superb play by Carlos, starts with his back to goal and ends up with an inch-perfect pass. Credit to Phillips as well, they're definitely on a wavelength as I can't imagine many other players making the run so early.

Crackin' well worked goal. Looked off side at first glance. Good time to take the lead.

That was a Championship standard goal. The run, the vision and execution of the pass and a brilliant finish. Top drawer that.
