Posted: Tue Feb 10, 2009 2:02 pmi have been led to believe that straw is 1 of the best insulating products you can get, now this might sound totaly stupid but why cant the club purchase however number of bales it would take to cover that end of the pitch.

EDIT - for those raised eyebrows.
When wet it is liable to spontaneously combust, Dangerous Goods Class 4.1 un 1327
abit of straw/hay scattered wont spontaneously combust, the above refers to bales

How did you see my eyebrows from there? Hope you didn't see me earlier when I was err... researching ladies whose clothing... err... spontaniously...err... when damp err...
