Premiership financial help?
Posted: Sat Oct 03, 2020 12:15 pmAccording to an article in today's Daily Mail the negotiations between the Premiership, Championship and the EFL appear to have come to a major stumbling block with the Championship interested in forming a PL2 much against the wishes of the Premiership which would leave the EFL high and dry, up a creak without a paddle.
It looks as though any financial help from the Premiership towards clubs in the EFL is unlikely at the moment which would leave clubs like ours in serious financial difficulties.
