Who was responsible for the banner flying over Barrow today welcoming them back to the EFL from Morecambe fc . Great gesture by whoever at considerable cost and got air time on Sky Sports

This was actually answered and explained (thanks Keith) on another thread. Apparently it was organised by Rod, and I do agree that it was a wonderful gesture.

Well done and I reckon this sums up MFC for me.

Lovely gesture that Barrow fans, and I’m one, will have appreciated. The IFollow coverage of the Barrow v Stevenage game didn’t show a shot of the plane but it did get a mention. Thanks. Barrow fans have dedicated a thread to it on their forum and all agree it was a nice touch from one Lancashire club to another. It’s great to be back in the league, shame we’re not back in Lancashire.

Not all the Barrow fans enjoyed the metal bird in sky shock they had yesterday sadly

To be expected, plenty of our younger fans moaning about it on Facebook too, most of them in nappies the last time we played Barrow in a competitive fixture, so what their problem is I’m not sure. :D
