If he felt hard done to when an owner voted in an online pole*, how is he going to feel when an owner removes his long term friend and right hand man?

*allegedly

As was pointed out by a few on here before he even took the job, unlike Morecambe where saving their skins time and time again, was seen as success.
There it was all about going in the other direction, where failure to do so wasn't really an option,

Jim must have understood this to be the case and that's football as they say, now he has an even greater, more important challenge to face.

Ken has been sacked basically by the owner, Jim has health problems, i seriously doubt Jim will be manager of Fylde much longer.

At this moment in time I don't think he'll be too bothered and ten a penny jobs like Fylde always come around and possibly better, you just never know in this game.

If he can overcome this setback, he won't be out of work very long.

I suspect you may be correct. If Kenny had held the fort while Jim recuperated then there could have been a smooth transition. Now the owner will appoint someone to run the club and if things go well then he will leave him in place.

A friend who is a Fylde fan (yes, there are a couple left :D ) reckons that a change in the back room staff was rumoured a while ago, before Jim’s confirmed condition.
The chairman is a twat, apparently, whom doesn’t even speak to his own brother, however the rumours are a new assistant, picked by Jim and the chairman, will be appointed ASAP.

Step forward one Kevin Ellison.....it's perfect for Kevin to get the experience as a number 2 before taking the reigns at some club in the future.

Can't see Jim being prepared to continue as manager due to his current situation plus having to accept the loss of his right hand man and now relegation.

He deserves better and I hope that he recovers but takes time out to consider his future putting his health and family first.

One thing for sure he'll be back.....eventually :) :) :)

Ex Everton striker Nick Chadwick is the new assistant Manager at Fylde.

Didn't he have a trial with us?

No 1 priority for Jim must be his health and then his family.

Football wouldn't even come into the equation if it was me having been through what he is going through.

Wish Jim well and a speedy recovery.... :)

Football has to come into the equation for him as he, like most people, have to earn money. I know what you mean though.

Wow!! I was talking to someone the other day who used to work at Fylde a couple of years ago. He said when he sees Jim talking he looks like a man going through the motions and who doesnt want to be there.

I said well he won't be used to a chairman questioning everything. He said maybe and compared the Fylde chairman to Donald Trump!! Just having unrealistic expectations and not understanding why sometimes things cant be done. Also the chairman is involved with even the most smallest details on a day to day basis.
