We are where we are, but if Macclesfield hadn't been docked points and Bury hadn't have gone out of business, it would be us in a trapdoor position.

My thoughts about ending the league is that it should be decided on points per game as we have always 4up and 4down except in our league where 2 teams are relegated with 2 teams getting promoted from the league below. Everyone knew there was only 1team going down from our league this season as Bury had already been relegated so on that understanding Stevenage should be the other team to be relegated. Why should conference clubs be shafted in favour of Stevenage this stinks in my opinion.. Why should there be a playoff to go up now that the league has been abandoned this is a farce and should not go ahead. Yes they are doing it in the prem but how much is it costing them and how could teams in our league afford to do this with everything it entails.

EFL have just recommended that relegation is retained for all leagues. Still needs to be approved by clubs, but it's seeming more likely that Stevenage are going down.

Really will stink of the old boys network if they don't go along with EFL's recommendation.

Did hear rumours that the national league might have to re-organise itself, which was part of the reason for league 2 clubs wanting to keep Stevenage in because they were not sure what would happen! Perhaps national league may go back to North/South again due to financial situation, needs sorting quickly though.

Can't say I'm surprised at the EFL sticking to their rules regarding Promotion and Relegation. However it may be a case of stalemate as the clubs in EFL1 and 2 need to vote for the proposal.

Interesting views on the Barrow forum suggest that some think that it may be 2 up after a play off for the extra place.
