Yes, a bit of a shame, but it's a point gained given the other results that matter.

Points dropped or point gained

Would have taken a point this morning

Cheatenage, Macc and Mansfield all losing

9 points clear with 33 to play for

Great forty minutes. Poor fifty minutes. Second half, with the wind behind us, we sat deep and let them play. A good point with Stevenage & Macclesfield losing, but three would have been a big boost. Feels more like a defeat than a good point, but still, one closer to safety.

I suppose a draw is better than a loss, but with so many attempts it feels slightly like one. Still, it moves us up a place, 9 point's clear now, and closing the gap on the rest.

Looked like a tremendous game. The goal before half time was a killer and gave them a chance to get back in it. Seems like a point dropped until you see no one around us winning.

Derek has helped us grind out results and points, which is great to see. He has a reputation for sitting on narrow leads, which can backfire, and also for sticking with favourite players irrespective of form, but league security is all that matters and then let’s see what happens next season. Good result.

A valuable point, but a shame to have lost the 0-2 lead after we've finished better in previous matches. Substitutions and tactical changes were slow in happening when it was obvious changes were needed. Slew yet to justify his shirt. Crewe will be a very difficult game next. A great away following of 562 :)

Sitting on narrow lead's, sticking with favourite player's ? Sound's like a former manager from not too long ago.

I wonder why we replaced Slew with O'Sullivan instead of A-Jay. Might have been a better chance of a third ?

First thing, fantastic support from the Morecambe fans.
We looked a league above Carlisle for 40+ mins, and it felt like a cricket score was on the cards after the first 2 goals. Then their goal on 45, seemed to totally deflate us for the 2nd half, and they ran rings round us for most of it. The Carlisle 12yr old sub, just after the break, had a big impact for them too. Another important point though.

Both teams played better running in to the wind than they did with the wind behind them. I thought it was a good game of football full of attacking play and good goals. Their 1st was a kick in the nuts but the number 40 stood out all game. Aaron's goal was straight out of the champions league, lovely technique.

Harsh to say DA struggled to the manage the game. We dominated and then they dominated. Good old fashioned football in horrible conditions. We are hard to beat and take the game to teams which is so much better to see. 9 points means Stevenage need to win at least 3 games more than us. Massive progress.

Fans were brilliant and travelled in good numbers. Thanks to the Trust and Ron for putting the coach on. Was more like being on a boat on that Motorway

I'm proud to live in this town and today brought it all home.
