6 man bench

Noticed over the last 5 games or so home and away we have only had a 6 man bench, can’t be lack of players , money saver perhaps ??? .

No , it's because unless one member of the squad is a player who has been developed then you can only name 6 subs. EFL rule.

And this includes Hawley, Bakare and Brownsword, not Carlos because he came through another association

Pointless putting a youngster on the bench just to make up numbers if they've no chance of playing. We seem to have all positions covered with our usual bench of 6, so pointless having anyone else.
