Fans' survey - your views wanted!

Fans' survey - your views wanted!

Postby Harry » Mon Dec 23, 2019 8:51 pm

Evening all. Not sure if you've seen the recent postings from Charlie Appleyard on Facebook and Twitter, but he's asked for as many opinions as possible...see the message below, and submit your views!

“We would like to invite all fans, staff, players, sponsors and anyone connected with the club to complete an online survey we are releasing in conjunction with the Supporters’ Trust. We were recently voted as having the 22nd best fan engagement in the football league, which is a great start, but who’s to say we can’t be Top 10?! Top 1?!! The plan is to gauge people’s opinions on what we do well and what the Club can do better as a collective to make sure we have clear communication, social media initiatives and a strong marketing strategy and brand.

We will be providing the survey to interested volunteers from Saturday 21st December, with a plan of action ready for presentation at the Fan’s Forum in February.”

Wow, this could possibly be the most proactive thing we have ever done.

Done, a bit of a slog but hopefully worthwhile. TBH it revolves around communication which is fine but all I really want is the product on the pitch to improve. Hopefully we are on our way to seeing that.

No room to accommodate information to away fans on the survey but something is wrong with it. Don't know what information is sent to them but I'm getting the jist that they don't think they can pay on the day so many simply won't bother because it's x-mas and they want to make a later decision whether they travel or not i.e. on the day......fair enough really! I assume like home fans they can pay on the day at the two windows but it will cost a couple of quid extra? However they haven't a clue about this which brings into question what info' is sent to them. Can we afford to lose revenue like this?

It is all ticket for Away fans and there is no pay on the day as per their OWS so no £2 for them. They have been allocated an initial 400 tickets inc terrace

318 completed forms, the Club have got some valuable information that they can address and will be having a fans forum in Feb/March.

Communications Survey Results:

Hi Everyone, many thanks to all who completed the recent survey. We received 318 fully completed forms, which is tremendous and gives us a lot of information to reflect on. We will be releasing an action plan in the coming fortnight along with a date in February/March for the next Fans’ Forum. The plan will outline how we will address the top improvement suggestions. Thanks again. If you have any questions in the meantime, please get in contact.
