The Bees found themselves on the negative side of a League result for only the fifth time this season, each defeat of which has been against a team from the North West, when they returned from Macclesfield last night.

Seems like a fair report from their point of view, apart from flippin' calling us the Shrimpers!

To suggest that some of our tactics 'left a lot to be desired'....takes the biscuit.

Never seen as much play acting to take the pressure of them for a long time. The incident with their goalkeeper being a fine example.

And as for the referee....

I don't know how many noticed the towing box that their coach had. No doubt to take the referee home.....
