We'll be playing against Blackpool, Carlisle and a Premier League U23 club to be drawn on Friday...

Who are the smallest/lowest 'invited club' in the competition? That's who we will draw.
Man Utd/Liverpool/Man City would be almost interesting and could result in a half decent crowd... so no chance then!
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Aston Villa
Everton
Leicester
Liverpool
Man City
Man Utd
Newcastle
Wolves

So AVFC is the obvious one we’ll get.

Also, “the draw is on 12th July”... what have U23 sides done to warrant a draw of their own! The comp. is meant to be for League 1/2 teams, not all of the focus on the prem sides as it seems to be...

I think they do the groups geographically, to try and make it easier for travel. I agree though, who Leicester City U23s are playing is hardly a big deal to anyone other than their mums and dads.
