Supporters Team needs your help!!!!

As most people know the supporters team has been running for quite some time now, without pat stoyles and jimmy goulding there would of been no team this year because they have put so much time, effort and money to keep the Team running. Now the money isn't there and the team will struggle to finish the rest of the season.

Anyone with any ideas on how we could raise some money so they can keep the team going then let us know, even anyone willing to sponser the team in some way then give us a shout.

Can you give us any idea what costs are involved and how much you're looking for to keep the team running to the end of the season at least?

Brian on the old forum you were talking about a small advert at the top of the page and then giving the money to the club did anything ever come from that before the old site closed down.

Just a thought but could we do something similar on this site and then Shrimpsvoices could sponsor the supporters club.

Nothing ever came of it. The reason I started to host the forum many years ago was because of my dislike for annoying adverts so it sort of went against the grain to put them back although I was willing to do it with a fixed advert. Not my forum any more but I'm sure Keith & Co are open for discussion.

after having a meeting with the supporters team yesturday pat has sent me some quotes of the money we need to finish the season.

the total amount will come to about £800.00
This is for : pitch fees
travel expenses
refs costs
washing kit

once players have paid subs then we will still be about £200 pound short.
we cant really put the subs up because they are already paying £5.00 each at a time.

hope the team does not fold, had some really great times playing for the shrimps supporters.
When the new ground is open maybe they could use one of the new pitch's which might work out a little cheaper.

anyway keep up the good work Pat and jimmy

Hope this can be sorted for the supporters team and the Ladies team, who are currently playing on Heysham High's 3G pitch because of lack of fit pitches in the area.

What's all that new floodlit area at Morecambe HS? Anything the teams could use?
