Has the embargo been lifted.
Posted: Fri Jan 30, 2009 2:22 pmIn tonights Lancashire Evening Post Sammy is still hoping to sign Mark Duffy and a couple of others in the "window".
According to Sammy as late as last night he said on Radio Lancs that he'd been told by the Vice Chairaman that the embargo would still be in place and that no additions to the squad would happen.
The same article then suggests that Matty Blinks would be in contention for a first team place. Strange, as he was having an x-ray for a possible broken toe but even if it proved negative there was a lot of swelling that would preclude him from selection.
