Press Conference video

The clip is about 18 minutes long so make yourself a brew before you launch it. But it IS an important day for the club so we thought it was worth giving you a feature-length version.

There's also a separate clip covering the old 'JB Christie Trust' chestnut that still keeps emerging.

Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

The most significant words from Peter for me were 'we will be debt free' from the deal.

That for me is of equal importance as the new stadium itself.

A new erea, a new start and a new beginning.

Great news.

Two very interesting videos, many thanks to the Visitor.

Nice to hear the Sainsbury's spokesperson.

Congratulations and well done to the Board of Morecambe Football Club, and everyone involved.

so am i correct in thinking that the club gets no cash from the sale ?? At all

with

sainsburys paying all the building cost ??
that it ??

great deal

so we will not have a penalty clause, should the building fall behind schedule

that will be down to the builders who are employed by sainsburys

:D :D

glagys - I don't think you are. Judging by this quote from the visitor:
The sale brings an immediate multi-million pound sum into the club's coffers.

Plus the fact it will allow us to be debt free implies the club get the money.

Absolutely great news. puts a stop to some of the doomsayers wandering around saying it would never happen.

New stadium. football club debt free. in the football league.

well done to one and all at the club.

Just listening to Shrimper on this broadcast when who should come up on the Sky Sports phone in but Glen from Morecambe, talking about Spurs. The two sound remarkably similar. It couldn't be could it?

He really does get everywhere that fella!
