Just had to have our cat put to sleep after over 14 years as part of our family.
Know exactly how Keith and his wife felt.
Wife and daughter in bits.

sorry to hear that, my missus is still upset.
for me, I'm at the 'foot down' stage of 'no we're not getting another one' because if it lives to a decent age, it'll be when we want to start travelling/retiring etc.
But I'm sure when she finally insists, I'll cave in like David Blaine above the Thames...

Take ours!
It's knocking on a bit so shouldn't be a burden for too long. Let it come and claw your carpets
and howl to get in/out of your house.
And it's called 'DuCATti', so suits you.
Believe me, when she goes, they can twine all they like - guinea pig in the garage maybe but no more housepets!
