According to this, Morecambe are one of the 26 League Clubs offering free season tickets to juniors:
http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/L ... 47,00.html

However on the club website children over 5 have to pay £50/£70.

I would call a "junior" maybe under 14 or possibly 16

Just how many under 5 season ticket holders have we got and how do they get to the game?

Do they have free use of the car park?

Any thoughts, or am I missing something here?

Fairly sure Heysham Port still provide a free season ticket to all children going from Junior to Secondary school.

Spot on. My Daughter got one at the end of term last year. She doesnt come every week but when she does she sees other kids she went to primary school with and just as importantly, a paying adult with them.

Fantastic gesture by the club and by Heysham Port who sponsor it.

Yes it's much appreciated and I feel it's one of the reasons that so many teens come to home games once they've got the bug.

I started going to MFC home games a couple of years ago when my son got a free season ticket through a family member at Heysham port. We are both now hooked and go to most home games. Thanks to that innitial freebie, Morecambe FC has got an extra 2 supporters regulary attending home games.

I do think however that there is a very large number of kids geting in with free season tickets without a full paying adult though, but hey, there is plenty of room at the moment.
