Was not expecting that. However I do think UTD now will start to lead the way. Liverpool could be enetring a "stiff" patch after the 0-0 at Stoke and Chelsea just look generally dodgy.

What does everyone think for the finish even thought it's still early?

I will go for -

1 - UTD
2 - Liverpool
3 - Chelsea
4 - Villa (What a story so far)

Just thought we could all debate something , the forum been abit lacking with news on our behalf due to postponments etc so just thought we could debate this...

I think;
United
Chelsea
Liverpool
Villa
Arsenal

Just as a side note, did anyone notice when Ronaldo caught the back of Lampards ankle, Lampard seemed to indicate to the ref that it wasn't a card? As the ref went over he definitely looked like he was going for the pocket.

I thought I'd open this thread to find people debating the disallowed goal.

BTW - ManU, Lpool, Chelsk and Arsenal for me.

I thought the corner was pretty creative, although apparently its an old trick, Andy Gray said he'd seen it used by Scarborough before.
The problem I thought would have been if Chelsea spotted the trick, beat Ryan Giggs to the ball, would the Utd players then start complaining that they hadn't really taken the corner yet but had changed their mind about who would take the corner?
Alex Ferguson said he didn't think you should have to inform the linesman, but if you don't, the above problem comes into play and confusion ensues, a big row kicks off on the pitch and Benitez begins writing to the FA to question why Ferguson hasn't been given a life sentence for allowing his players to practice such a dubious set piece. :lol:
