The club have just been informed that there will be a pitch inspection at Blundell Park at 9.30am after overnight frost. I am writing this on the coach travelling down to the game.

We will let fans know the outcome the moment we are told of the decision.

Match has been called off

Thats good news for me, the minibus was setting off at 10 and I woke up at 10:15 ....

...as if it isn't bad enough the game being off, the fact that the team heard whilst in transit means the cost of the coach...or do Grimsby have to pay that?

Doubt we paid Shrewbury last season when the match was called off at the ground, or Darlington and Cheltenham for abandoned matches.

I seem to recall an official saying that the cost of travel would be for us to pay.

Maybe it's different if the opposition have already arrived.

Just 3 out of 12 League 2 games going ahead today.

Whoo-Hoo! Working in Warrington that Tue, Wed, Thurs! Warrington to Grimsby it is then (how far is that? Must be less than Morecambe to Grimsby!)
