Newby was loaned to Nigel Clough's Burton Albion, as he was travelling up to Greenock from his home in England, just before the 1 September transfer window deadline.[9][10]

Clough confirmed after the win over York City that Newby's loan would not be extended past mid-January 2009. He said that this was due to Newby having been recruited to join Juande Ramos at Real Madrid.[11]

Real Madrid

Newby has spent his career honing his skills and now he he is finally ready at the age of 30 to test himself against the best. He follows in the footsteps of Steve McManaman and Michael Owen in joining Real Madrid. His transfer should spell the end for Ruud Van Horseface's time at Madrid.

And this kiddies, is why you don't quote Wiki in your course work!   Anyone remember the Torrisholme entry with the Boy George Hotel, the local gay bar and "it's own China town [the Chinese take-away]"
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

My students are expressly forbidden from using Wikipedia as a source for their academic work for just this reason.

The Torrisholme entry was bloody funny, though
