I feel sorry for Wayne. Whenever I've seen him play this season he's put in 110% and had an impact. I think it was against Grimsby he came on and scored and then went close to winning us the game but just fired over the bar.

Cheeky bugger!

I can't confirm or otherwise that it's going to happen.

But wouldn't be suprised as it will give Wayne the games he needs to get back into contention with us after his injury. It's also good for Wayne as he lives near to Holker Street.

Long term Wayne will finish his career at Barrow we all know that. But as has already been posted a while back, why would he sacrifice life in the league and a testimonial to go to his home town club at the moment?

By the way, Barrow are reported to be taking 7000 fans to 'Boro according to a 'Boro fan who sits near to me on match days... :o

Apparently they were allocated 5,000 to start with and have asked for more.
Good luck to them.

Good luck to Barrow at 'boro.

11-1 to win according to William Hill (other betting companies are available).

Plymouth are 14-1 to beat Arsenal.

Oh and i hope Wham doesn't go anywhere, i think in the few times he's played this season he's been arguably one of our better players.

Curtis has gone to Barrow for a months loan.
News on official site.
http://www.morecambefc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10866~1505595,00.html

Curtis, who has been out of action for almost two months with a rib injury, has made the move in an effort to get some match fitness.

He could make his debut in the FA Cup third round this weekend at Middlesbrough as he is eligible to play for the Bluebirds in their massive cup tie.

BARROW AFC have sold all 7,000 of their tickets for the FA Cup third round tie at Premier League Middlesbrough on Saturday.
The last remaining tickets were snapped up yesterday as cup fever grips the town.
Last night Middlesbrough, who put their tickets on sale a fortnight ago, told the Evening Mail that they were anticipating a crowd of around 20,000 at their 35,000-capacity stadium.
After selling out their initial allocation of 5,000 tickets, Barrow were given a further 2,000.
The travelling army from Barrow will smash the previous away team attendance record at the Riverside.

Good luck Wayne.

What's the betting that if he gets a look in on Saturday that he scores (the winner?).

How ioronic that would be for the lad who is destined to wear the blue shirt one day on a permanent basis.

i think wayne will go to boro and if he plays well maybe he could get on loan at middlesborough? who know? they are looking for a strong lad to play with afonso alves and i think wayne would compliment his game very well.

I think you are getting "New Years Day" and "April Fools Day" mixed up!

Wouldn't be surprised if he was on the bench.

I've been very impressed with waynes fitness levels at the start of this season and his attitude to never stop working right up to the final whistle. I would be very dissappointed if this was anything more than just about him getting match fitness before returning to the first team.

Good luck to Barrow at Boro.

Barrow is going to be empty! I was in Barrow a few weeks ago and 'cup fever' had already taken hold. Hope they can cause an upset or even cling on for a draw and another big pay day.

Just read on the official site that Wayne isn't cup-tied. He could be getting a game at the Riverside. What a moment that will be for him, a Barrow lad playing in the biggest game Barrow have had for years.

Good luck Wayne. He deserves regular football, although I hope we haven't see the last of him in a Morecambe shirt.

One of our most underated players.

it's for a month to get match fit. Sounds like a good move to me.
