Hull have missed out on a good bloke

Good news Mark Lillis is staying with us but you have to feel sorry for him that he didn't get what would have been a dream job for him.

Much loved by the Shrimps faithful i don't think he sometimes gets the credit he deserves at the club. I might not always agree with what goes on at Christie Park but i do know we are lucky to have Sammy and Mark at the helm when all is said and done.

A good double act that has thankfully been allowed to stay together for the foreseable future. Yet the bottom line is i don't think Hull realise they have missed out on a really good bloke.

PS is it me or is there a higher level of intensity about the club this season. The extended break has left everybody raring to go and the squad is looking really good. And the fans are also re-charged and up for it too. Should be interesting stuff.

Totally agree with what you say about Hull making a big mistake..however it's to our benefit.

As for we fans.....get the feeling from this weeks games that everybody realises that this is going to be a very difficult season, more so than last. We've got our role to play in what could be a survival exercise. We're part of the family also!

Fully agree Brian for me if Lillis left it would be a bigger loss than Thommo going.

I was worried that if he left it might be a bit like Leeds when Gus Poyet left for spurs.
