Yeovil Prediction Thread.

Postby Sakhalin Shrimp » Mon Aug 31, 2015 11:06 am

Predictions for Saturday's away match at Yeovil please.
That includes CC and Blackpool Shrimp, c'mon, you know you want to. ;)

I'm going for a free scoring 0-3 Shrimps win.

Mrs Sak thinks they'll scab a last minute consolation in a Shrimps 1-3 win.

Think I'll wait to see how many injuries we sustain against Walsall. Might not have a bench for Saturday

Do we not get a Walsall prediction thread? Cup games counted for the comp last season, not just league games. Feel free to ignore cup if you wish though Sakhalin, I'm only commenting, not criticising. :) On the subject of Yeovil, I'm with Black Morse, in that I'll wait to see what hapens tomorrow night first.

Not taken as criticism, always open to suggestions and comments, I wasn't sure if last year's league covered league games only or cup games also.

I assume the tie has to be decided on the night so do I take the result at 90 mins, or after extra time/penalties?

As it should be a goalfest with penalties. I'd be more prone to take the result after 90+added mins.

Edit.

Just checked, no extra time, straight to penalties.

2-0 to the Shrimps.

Tipped Yeovil and Carlisle to go down.

There are goals from all over the pitch at the moment, Yeovil won't know how to handle our pace or know who is a danger to them...

0-4! :D :D :D

As much as I think he's still a valuable player for us, I hope Kev starts on the bench and has to work his way back in to the starting line-up (or better still, becomes an impact sub).

Be interesting to see what team Jim goes with this Saturday. With Paz pulling out tonight looks like edwards will go straight back in but hope it's not the case with Ellison as the goals have been flowing since he's been out of the team.

Baz

McGowan edwards dugdale Wilson/molyneux

Fleming Goodall

Devitt Wildig Barkuizen

Miller

I'm going for a 2-1 victory

Must be a bit tricky to predict when a team wins without a shot on target :o . So a 1-3 away win and start with same team as tonight .

On a high after the last two, so I'm going with

Yeovil 1 - 3 Morecambe, scorers Barkhuizen, Devitt and Goodall, taking them to 3 a piece (if my memory serves, you never know at my age :? )

Yeovil 0 Morecambe 2. Am I being too conservative? Maybe but my first game of the season so that score line will satisfy me.....anything more will be a bonus!

2 - 2 after being 0-2 up. Molynuex and Miller to net their first for us. Then Barkhuizen with a late winner
