The return of Thommo

The return of Thommo

For me he looked totally disinterested last night and despite a touchline bollocking from their No2 (that man in white tights) his performance (or lack of) suggested that he wanted to be anywhere else other than playing against his former club. Even when applauding the Wanderers fans after the game it looked to be a half hearted gesture lacking in any sense of being a victor.

How the hell can you say that?

His booking, where he sprinted half the length of the pitch to take out Beeley was not the action of someone who couldn't give a toss.

played out of position, but ended up on the winning side, so job done.

I thought he played well and caused us all sorts of problems with his power and pace and I'd love him back based on that performance.

he's like a different player. certainly a lot stronger he's filled out, his legs looked solid, don't think he's as pacy as he once was. probably why he's playing more in the middle nowadays

but what about that foul when he taken Beeley out, It was right infront of me  he just lunged at him, yellow card at least, seen people sent off in the premiership for that type of tackle, I suspect it was out of frustration because Beeley was schooling him.
