booked 2 nights in London for our 10th anniversary! we arrive in London tonight at 20.15!
how do I get to RaMada London docklands from Euston?
is it a case of buses which will take flipping ages?....Must be a easier way

Nightmare, totally unnecessary RMT misery!

To Watford junction on train
To Clapham junction on train
To Shadwell on train
To Limehouse or as close to docklands as possible on bus

Ps
Taxi prices could be tripled as they were last time and buses in the centre rammed but should be ok ish at Shadwell

Maybe if those other public sector workers received the pay and conditions they deserved, then maybe you would find it easier to feel sorry for the tube drivers and leave them be...

Roughly three times what I earnt before tax in the last tax year, but there again, my mortgage is paid off, and I don't live in London, which is a f*!k lot more expensive than St Orth. I'm not supporting the strikers by any means, just saying it's easy to post their salaries to get a response, but a little context would be nice.

I worked in the public sector for 33 years, and never went on strike for a single day.
As soon as Mark Serwotka came on the scene that was the time to end my subscription.
I'll never feel an ounce of sympathy for tube drivers [or anyone else] who feel they can hold London to ransom as when.

I actually don't have sympathy for the strikers. I think this is a dreadful government which will get worse over the next few years, but the people choose the government and they made their choice. Not up to unions to try and change that. The tube drivers are well paid and are going to receive a decent bonus for working a night shift. They are now demanding that if they work a Saturday night they will not work again until the Tuesday, with Monday as a 'rest day'. Get over yourselves folks. I believe in unions, they are needed to fight for fairness and decency. Not to hold other people to ransom. This sort of thing simply alienates the unions further.

Only my opinion of course but I suspect that you are going to have to get used to this Government for some considerable time especially if Labour is lead by the 'left' candidate.
