O/T Halifax FC departures

Halifax have lost the services of a number of their key players with Matty Pearson a centre half joining Accy but their biggest loss is midfielder Lois Maynard to Tranmere. Lois, Halifax's current PoY , scored 12 goals from midfield last season and could have been just the type of goal scoring midfielder that could have solved our lack of goals from midfield for a number of seasons now.

Wouldn't be surprised if Tranmere made a quick return to the FL as their manager Gary Brabin seems to have a bit of money to spend and has made some astute signings to date.

Halifax certainly know how to get some really good players. They got Vardy, who now plays in the premiership. Would have liked Marc Roberts at the Globe to replace Hughes, but bigger clubs were interested, in which he opted for Barnsley. Scott Boden has been a regular scorer at the Shay since he joined from Macclesfield and would make another good addition if he was out of contract, but finances dictate otherwise.
