Totally agree Bill .... Probably one game that Southend didnt want
They could go up with a draw but probably need a win especially with Bury playing Tranmere

It's a bit of a catch 22 , we want to beat Phil very Browns lot but that would potentially gift another local team with promotion. This league is too southern as it is .

Heard Shrewsburys chief exec talking on the radio yesterday and now that Shrewsbury are confirmed as promoted he said he hoped Bury would be too purely for the reasons we want them to stay down + he said for them Southend is an overnight stay costing £2500 so every club thinks similar. I have a funny feeling they might 'just' beat us next week but purely because they will be so so up for this one, not to say our boys won't be too but I think they will sneak it
