My son stepped out the front door in front of me the other day and found a fiver on the floor, the lucky little sod!

About 5 years ago I found a £20 note on Whinnysty Lane.
I took it to Morecambe police station, after waiting for it to open, and told them of my good fortune.
After a "double take", they took my details, and, 30 days later, the note was mine!
happy days!

Irrational stuff I know, but I had about 5 pretty bad consequences more or less immediately after finding cash and I just can't shake it off ! ( Dog run over , Car crash, death in the family)
If its copper I just leave it there, otherwise I bring it home and give it to the kids.
