Train to Bury

Just wondering if anyone else is getting the train to Bury on Monday.

I thought I heard on tv this morning that there are engineering works going on between here and Manchester , so could be a bus job. Maybe John L will be able to give you more accurate information.

Trains are running Monday to and from Manchester

Metrolink to Bury is also running on Monday

If you get Metrolink from Bury after the game at 1823 you would arrive back in Lancaster at 2016

Outbound from Lancaster at 1027 arrive Bury at 1220


Hope this is of help to any supporters going by train/metrolink

Indeed I can! The route via Bolton is shut but there are still direct trains running on the electrified route via Wigan. All good... ;)

DO we have to be careful which train we go for then was going for the 11.24

Yeah the 11.24 is a direct train to Manchester via Preston and Wigan, but don't get off at Preston or Wigan to get on the Bolton train..

PS watch out for trees!!

Yeah, but i need to get to the root of the problem and Cross Country havn't got back to me yet
