Whilst not for one minute wishing to defend yet another absolutely crap home performance,it was noticeable in the first half how the pitch wasn't up to much. Both Ellison's and Willow's attempt on goals that sailed over the Bay Radio stand could be put down to the ball hitting bobbles on the pitch. This was evident from a number of us in C Premier.

Jim alluded to that in his post match interview

Yeah it rained a week last Thursday, how bladdy miserable of the weather to do that

Oxford and Luton both had the sprinklers on for ages before the game and at half time, if this is an excuse it is utter bollox!

We should have played on the pitch that Hartlepool used if theirs was better... oh, hang on, weren't we both on the same one?

We've been pish at home in 2015. Can't blame the pitch every week.
