Turned out in force and sang for the entire 90+ minutes. All credit to them...

OK a number of idiots that required the Police both during and after the game but I could never see us turning out in force at an away ground if we ever had the misfortune of being bottom of the league.

Possibly one of the reasons is that Hartlepool is three times bigger than Morecambe?

It was sad to see "Morecambe Fans" trying to get at the Hartlepool fans via The Langridge estate after the game. This liitle mob seems to be increasing in numbers and causing more problems. Its also a bit worrying to see the stewards putting a blockade up at the the end of The Omega stand that prevents fans from the North Terrace exiting that way.

It was even sadder to see the mass groups of "Morecambe fans" congregating outside Wetherspoons in town this morning and then marching down Euston Road en masse chanting about hating Hartlepool.

Yeh what's that all about?

And a flare going off behind the goal...return to bad behaviour from last year?

Maybe one of our fans, with a Morecambe shirt on was spat at, and just wanted to retaliate by knocking them out with a sidewinder?

It is sad that were ever we go on our travels we will get constant grief as well due to a small number of numpties who want to act hard & spoil it for the good number of loyal shrimps fans. I surprised that Hartlepool did not retaliate with the long history of hooliganism they have held in the past.

I was in the away end at half time doing the Prostate Cancer collection...certainly lively and vocal, but generally good natured...

sat right next to them,very loud,but good humoured,a few of them were bladdered though,if the club are going to put large numbers of away fans in our home stand it needs a much larger number of more 'adequate' looking stewards.

The sensible thing would be to put ALL away fans behind the goals if its busy.

you're talking a lot of money, what is it in the Bay Radio Stand £15 compared to £20+ in the PMG?

Stewards who were there were perfectly adequate...I will point out that a couple of Hartlepool fans were annoyed that they were forced to sit at the more expensive rate, when last time they brought about the same and were allowed to stand behind the goal..

Yeah what's all that about?, had to move it so I could get past.
If they want a barrier maybe it should be from the exit gate on the north terrace splitting the road there not where supporters are trying to get out without having to go where the away supporters are exiting at the same time.

Just seen a photo on Facebook of Hartlepool fans in a police escort being walked up Regent Road to the railway station after the game.

Many of 'the few' are from Lancaster. So that's another 60,000.

Hi pools fan here yeah we get it from boro fans oh you only get 3500 to 5000 at home games well if you can draw on a population 3 or 4 times bigger crowds are bound to be bigger. Saying that we have terrific away support and if we hadn't been so rubbish in recent weeks would probably have had close on 1000 there yesterday already talk that we might take 2000 plus to York and a similar amount to Carlisle. Frustrating thing for us that teams like yourselves with less home support finance are comfortably surviving and have a way better team than us yet our owners are running us into the ground and using every excuse possible not to spend on the team. Good luck and do us a few favours along the way. Boy do we need it.

Good Luck in your fight to stay up. I would rather have a short trip to Hartlepool than a trip to Cheltenham on a Friday night. Hope we can help you stay up but don't get too optimistic, as our form against the lower teams is terrible.

I think all pools fans enjoy coming to a proper football ground. You may be rubbish against the poor teams but at least you ain't rubbish against everyone. Though a small glimmer of hope has appeared especially with two home games coming up soon.

I was surprised there was so many away fans and I hope they stay up. With 4 of the bottom 5 sides northern, we could lose 2 more

I think people are turning out for us because everyone knows how serious the situation is. We all realise that we may never be back. We had 750 at Mansfield at Christmas so wasn't the turnout it could of been yesterday morcambe is one of our closest games so its one of the first fixtures we now look out for after York and Carlisle.

I hope Hartlepool and Carlisle both stay up.

Its looking like 4 Southern teams coming down from League 1 and either Barnet or Bristol Rovers look like coming up from the Vanarama Conference.

Cheltenham and Dagenham going down would be better for us.
