Yet again Blackpool Shrimp comments on a game that he will probably be listening to from his armchair.

Now who is pessimistic? Bookies were battered today on a 3/1 away win...

Tuesday 1.1... somebody will keep the ball down, we won't put 4 forwards on that have never all played together at the same time and we won't concede an OG

Every time I think we're going to turn the corner at home, we lose. Lost three on the trot at home. Scored 5 in our last eight games. Second bottom in the 'last eight' form table.

If we were away from home, I'd think we had a chance. But we're not, and we're not showing any signs of sorting it out. 0-2.

IF Jim put's out a proper midfield, I think we'll win it. They always come back strong after a poor game - usually it would be the following Saturday away, but this time we have another evening home match first where they'll bounce back to a hard-fought 3-2 win (Williams, Redshaw, Amond).

Home games seem to add extra pressure which we seem incapable of coping with. Add the fact that Shrewsbury are a good team, deserving their position, and I don't think we have much chance of this being the start of a winning streak at The Globe. We'll do well to get a draw but I think Shrews will take it 0 - 2.

We will never win 2 consecutive games. Fact. We will and I want us to beat Carlisle, so we need to lose Tuesday.

IMHO the players are nervous when playing at home.

If Podge had been given that chance in the second half on an away ground he would have buried it instead of smashing it over the bar. In home matches our players seem either scared to shoot or else they snatch at chances.
