Going to F&B's tonight for the first time and hope to use my Discount Card.

Has anybody been who has had trouble using it as it says to provide a current wage slip on the rear. That is a bit difficult for me as I'm retired!!!!!!

:?: :?: :?:

Slightly further O/T, but:-

Members of FCoM get a discount card for a discount at the Hurley Flyer - I haven't used mine yet.

The Hurley Flyer always has a "Two for One" offer on main meals in any case.

If two people go for a meal - can you have "two for the price of one" and then get the further FCoM discount as well?

We had A meal at the Hurley last week , 3couples all paying separately . When it came to pay I used my discount card to pay for all the meals . 6 two course meals initially £120 , with the 2for1 deal and the discount card reduced the price to just over £70.

Due to the Manager ('er in doors) wanting a better deal we ended up at The Hurley Flyer.

Not an 'away day' that gave us a good result...... :(

Stay at home next time and get a positive result..... ;)

CC - what was the problem at the Hurley Flyer?

Poor food? Poor service? Didn't get the expected discount?

My meal was OK but my wife had undercooked fish with chips.

To their credit when I said that the fish was undercooked they did give me a further 20% off the bill which was appreciated.
