Another case of 'it is what it is'..... is totally unacceptable.

But the management team brought in the players that performed so abysmally yesterday so what does that phrase "It is what it is" mean. We have some players on good wages so if they are not performing it is the management's fault surely. We have lost to poor teams and shown virtually no football, no passion and no motivation. "It is what it is" doesn't mean we should be tactically naïve and set out not to lose rather than win. Our tactics in my opinion are basically lots of square passes then lump the ball upfield hoping the strikers gain possession. Midfield is virtually non-existent. That has to change. "It is what it is" is no longer acceptable as an excuse for mediocrity.

But look at all the clean sheets we've had! Playing sideways and backwards has worked on occasions! At least he apologised for the poor performance and didn't blame everything between the earth and the moon! Look on the bright side only 6 more home games then a break and 3 months of good football before the rot sets in yet again!! wanders off humming "things can only get better"

I hope that Jim isn't playing politics as a kind of protest at not being given any new money. You know, arguing that the poor performance is down to money, in the hope that PMG will wave his chequebook to bring in some new players in time to give us a boost and keep us out of the relegation zone. Sort of forcing his hand?

Yesterday wasn't about lack of money. We had a full, fit squad of players chosen by Jim. They didn't perform, so that's down to the lads and management, not a lack of money for new players. Now, if we'd had a few injured or suspended, some players had to play out of position, and Jim was filling the bench with youngsters, then, yes, he would have grounds to blame the directors for not giving him the money.
