I've just noticed that the kit we played in last night is nothing like the one that we are supposedly playing in next season.
Have we changed the kit design or something?

Last nights kit was a mock up of the real kit. I understand it is a standard kit that is the closest to our bespoke kit that is on its way. The MOPAY transfers were being ironed on Monday night.
I was told that it was hoped that the first batch of 500 will be in transit next week.

Those shirts would be a real collectors item then, come the end of the season!
I can feel an auction coming on at the presentation night

They were long sleeved, much to the obvious annoyance of Neil Wainwright as he spent the entire night pulling them up.

Sorry, but I have to say that I'm not impressed with the service to date by PUMA.
For me it shows how excellent UMBRO looked after us. OK Peter Mc had a big influence, but to not have the team kitted out in the newkit for pre-season games doesn't argue well for the future.
It will be interesting to see if the delivery of replica shirts is on schedule.

maybe it is to try and blind the other teams players before they have a chance to score

That's why Cech wanted it for Chelsea!
