The building at the back of Lancaster Fried Chicken and the The Friary collapsed. I think it was a tyre shop. There were a lot of fire engines and police and the crane in the road didn't help.

Word on the news this morning was that the Warehouse nightclub building had colapsed. comming back to lancaster from salt ayre last night at about 9.30pm the traffic was still backed up to scale hall lights. The police had closed the one way round Kingsway and were redirecting all traffic round Bulk road. 1/2 hour to get from Salt Ayre to Lancaster at 9.30 on a Thursday night!

No wonder there is no oint in trying to lure new companies to the area - probably one of the reasons Reebock pulled out - crap road system through Lancaster.

Ex-nightclub building collapses
Six homes have been evacuated after the collapse of the Warehouse nightclub in the centre of Lancaster.
Emergency services were called to the property on North Road at about 1650 GMT after reports that the roof of the disused building had collapsed.
A number of nearby businesses were evacuated and roads closed while fire crews and police checked the area.
A Lancashire police spokeswoman said no one was reported trapped or injured in the incident.
