Would he want to stay?

Would he want to stay?

Postby Christies Child » Thu Dec 11, 2008 8:15 am

Quite a lot of debate about Rene on the forum of late, but I wonder if he would want to stay if given the opportunity or would he prefer a club nearer to the capital?

Pointless post of the day already decided!

my guess is he'd rather be here playing first team football than be sat on the bench

BUT! he would probably like to be playing first team football more nearer home

Is he happy here?
Is anyone else interested in taking him?
Can they match what we would offer him and P'boro?

That's what decides it. We don't know but I think we will at least be trying to sign him in Jan.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

I don't think he's been prolific enough in goal scoring to be snapped up by anyone else at a fee agreeable with P'boro or on the sort of money he would like.

That aside, I think he is happy enough here and with the right service - Danny hopefully, the goals will start to come.
