Aye, not a bad turnout at all. Its interesting to hear Jimmy Quinn ask for the fans to get behind them:
"I know it's difficult but we're really working hard. We need to make Dean Court as loud and as intimidating as we can," he told BBC Radio Solent.
"We don't want to have a game where we're giving the opposition a lift.
"The fans were having a bit of a moan and they've got every right if they don't see shots at goal. But we've got to be better than that."
Their fans behind the goal were certainly giving it a decent effort to lift the players. Whilst obviously favourable to us, it does make you question the amount of points the FA have deducted. The main reason these clubs have gone into adminstration is because they have spent beyond their means. It must have a hugely negative effect on their gates and hence their income, as the floating fans have little motivation to watch a team destined for relegation.
I actually thought despite the scoreline, last night was an entertaining game but both sides were just lacking the cutting edge in the final third.
