The British Legion are going to hold a race night on Sat 28th Feb in aid of the Poppy Appeal (Just to let you know, they have already counted up over £12,000 with more to come in). This is a fund that is collected for and managed all year round, not just in November.

The reason for the advance notice is that the eight races require a sponsor (£25 per race), with an 8 race card.

We are looking for local buisnesses (or individuals if they want) to help out with race sponsorship then the organisers can then get a poster up a few weeks in advance to advertise the event. (Mark S - I will be ringing/pming you soon mate ;) )

As many of you know, we have arranged a few of these in the past for the benefit of Morecambe FC, this time I have been approached by the Legion for help.

The event is the same day as the Wycombe home game so we will all be here.

It is a great evenings entertainment and on this occasion children are allowed in during the evening to make it a family event.

Thanks in advance

Mick
