Morecambe v Cheltenham or Oldham

We have shown that we can beat Oldham this season, not too sure about Cheltenham to be honest. Whoever we get, this will be a tough fixture IMO

Tough game...But at least we are at home so that is a bonus. What are your thoughts?

We will need a fully fit squad to get to Round 3, to beat either team ;)

Did anyone else get really nervous when Torquay were drawn at home, waiting for the next number  Didn't want that one!

Oh another thread on the subject. ;)

It'll be tough whichever team it is, but at least Oldham should generate a good crowd.

imo i would rather face cheltenham they will have a longer journey up than oldham. plus oldham will be out for revenge like port vale last season.

At least we are at home, should be a decent crowd as well, if its Oldham then i would imagine it would be all ticket for the away supporters.

We should have a few players back from injury as well and in a one of game anything is possible, though i'm sure Oldham would be out for revenge after we beat them in the JPT.

Is there anywhere on line to view the full list?* My first thought is this may be a TV game as they usually have one 'all League' game, second division v first. As we've beaten Oldham once, they may look to us? Certainly a tough draw for us but a home tie and we've beaten better than those two!

It's going up on Sky any minute

It would have been Cheltenham had Oldham not come back from 2-0 down to steal a draw, Really looking forward to this one whoever we play

Bradford City v Leyton Orient

Hmm, can't see it being us on TV with that fixture available, *HUGE* division two side v struggling division 1.

I am so glad we did not draw Leeds as I support both Morecambe and Leeds....All we need to do is get to the 3rd round and get someone on the lines of Chelsea, Man U or Arsenal.

He was mentioned on here a while back. Wonder if he'd be interested in a short term deal? Out of contract, so available for free, bags of experience and a good way to get back up to speed? Plus, seeing Christie at Christie would be good

Well considering we've already played Oldham we know what sort of game they play. But looking at the table (league 1), Cheltenham look like they would be a easier opponent.
fingers crossed we'll beat whatever team we play.

Old friends from Conference days are Cheltenham.

I've seen Cheltenham boys at quite a few Morecambe away games, in our end. :)

Would sure be a good evening whatever the score ;)

I hope it is Cheltenham Town.
It would be nice to put one over a former Conference team and a team managed by Martin Allen. Alex Russell former Morecambe player is with The Robins now and played for Cambridge United the day we beat them 2 1 in the second round of The FA Cup and we went on to face Ipswich Town in the Third Round.
Fingers crossed its The Robins

Surely far better off if it's OLDHAM? :?
Atleast the away end will be filled bringing in extra revenue to the club plus the pie sales will go through the roof
