On the subject of fireworks, lots of people have problems with their dogs being scared of fireworks, but mine sits at the window watching them or if in the garden tries to chase rockets,yet the other night I brought an inner tube in the kitchen to fix a puncture and the dog was really scared of it!

Posted: Fri Nov 14, 2008 9:35 pmBalloon's do it for my Border Collie , Curly ! When the kids have a party she spends the whole time behind the couch only re-imerging tentatively, when all the balloon's have been removed from the 'area'.
Not too keen on the ol' fireworks neither stays indoors - had a barbecue this year and could'nt even tempt her out with an under-cooked sausage.
