Really hope that chris gets a decent reception tomorrow from all the home fans - he was not my favourite player but he helped us achieve league football so in my opinion will always be warmly accepted back at christie park...but hopefully after good reception he as a nightmare and goes back to hampshire with no points

Could be a mixed bag tomorrow.

Blackie will get some cheers, whilst Howell will get some jeers!

I doubt there'll be any animosity towards Blackie tomorrow, he got an offer of a two league jump and he took it. Anyone else would have done the same. Added to that things haven't exactly turned out the way he hoped so I don't think any groups'll get on his back, equally I expect him to give the home crowd a round of applause at the end too.

Quite right HM. Blackie deserves a very warm welcome as it is our first chance to say thankyou to him.

For 90 minutes he is part of the opposition, but before and after he deserves the utmost respect.

I can't wait to give Jesus a warm welcome, he was such a vital member of our squad and we didn't have a chance to say thank you for the contribution he made.

We must all hail our hero before kick off and wish him well for the rest of the season (at the end of the match though)

There's no need to boo former players unless they have slagged us off. Remember how Northwich booing inspired Blackie to a terrific performance a few years back.

He always gave us 100%, any player that does that deserves our respect and a warm welcome.

....and if he makes a nasty challenge, Mark should play the Pythonesque quote "He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy!" over the PA!!! :D
