Having seen the Vale Twice doing " glad all over " after scoring, isn't that something we could do after scoring a goal ? Maybe not the same song but i'm sure our award winning tannoy person could sort something out.

Glad all over is a brilliant song and Im all for teams doing that in the lower leagues where the attendances aren't enough to make a decent noise without it.

Blackpool and Crystal Palace use Glad all over too, I believe, And I agree that Chelsea Dagger is rubbish.

Award winning? Aww shucks! Thanks for being the first to mention it. Even The Club havent mentioned it.

We used to do Blurs 'Song 2' You know the 'Wooo Hoo!' but abandoned that after feedback.

When the subject was brought up again last season the feedback was overwhelming in favour of letting the fans do the celebration and doing the noise. Personally, I agree with that, it always looks a bit cheesy to me.

I would be pleased to do it if that is what the majority want and someone can come up with something a bit different. Its not up to me. Its up to you guys.

*cough* I think if you have a look at the fans profile from a few weeks ago you get a little mention ;)

I did read it at the time, have just had another look and it says award winning commentator. I remember reading that and thinking it must be Quinny! Thanks very much though if it was a mention for me.

Great paragraph BTW that sums up last season well. Makes yer proud it does! :D

Personally, I find music played after a team scores completely naff. They don't do it at Old Trafford or Anfield, so I don't see the need for it at Christie Park.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W95mT4-7 ... re=related - yesterday ALL of the port vale fans joined in with it, if we played this or something similar then would the main stand really join in?

When they scored both of there goals yesterday and I heard this, it made it feel even worse!

When someone scored a try last night at the Sydney Football Stadium
these huge fire things went off behind the goal and the music came pounding out over the Tannoy.
I'm all for noise and fire after a goal.
Also there were just over 34,000 there, we managed a Mexican wave 8 times around the ground.

The question actually is would the North Stand join in?

Not saying that out of anything but respect, but when we score a goal The North Stand usually explode into celebration and then a rendition of 'Vindaloo' with 'Morecambe' at the end of it. I usually wait for that before announcing the goal scorer.

Is it?

Don't you think we already do that? Without words!!

I thought the idea was for the whole ground to join in singing?

Do we all know....

Does anybody know how long to World War Three?
I wanna know, I've got to book me holiday
They want me in the army but I just can't go
I'm frightened of listening to the radio
The whole thing's daft, I don't know why
You have to laugh or else you cry
You have to live or else you die
You have to laugh or else you cry
My friend said that we're heading for a grotty time
It's just a bit of slapstick in a pantomime
We're heading for disaster, but I just don't care
Shut your eyes and count to ten you won't be there
The whole thing's daft, I don't know why
You have to laugh or else you cry
You have to live or else you die
You have to laugh of else you cry

The last six lines could be sung by Negative Ned as a solo!!!
