Sometimes i wonder weather these sports journalist no what they are talking about.

roche should have got a 9 just for the triple save.

yates had a good solid first game i would give him a 7.

danny adams, not a league 2 player at the moment he is to slow and i think he needs to lose at least a stone in weight i would give him a 4.

What game were you watching Badger to give D. Adams a 4 he was definitely a 7. A much better performance after having putting on weight(and losing some)and having a virus.

Was at fault without doubt for their goal. There was enough space for a double decker bus between him and the Rochdale player. The TV replay of the goal says it all.

There were suggestions that he still was suffering from the after effects of the virus. If he wasn't 100%, then he shouldn't have started.

DA was rightly PoY last season. Unfortunately he hasn't lived up to expectations so far this.

I think Roche was just as culpable for Rochdale's goal, horrible positioning as the ball sailed over him.

TV suggests that the ball was in flight on the edge of his box. One of those that has any goalkeeper in 2 minds what to do. On this occassion he possibly got it wrong.

But he more than made up for it with his triple save. Had that gone in....it would have been curtains I'm afraid. So for me he more than contributed to the draw.

Joe Lewis appeared to have a bad day at the office yesterday.

By the same argument then, DA should be absolved for his fantastic tackle near the end?

How can Danny Adams get a better rating than Yatesy?

I thought Howe was awful, his body language was shocking, he was too busy thinking about what bar to go to first that night. Wayne had a decent game as did Stanners. We just don't have that excitement anymore.

and I think he does it far to muchfor my liking on crosses he always seems to be in 2 minds and never comands his area well enough.

Thankfully he is a great shot stopper

...but he was missing when they scored. It's his job along with his defensive colleagues to mark their allotted man. Time after time after time this has happened this season and Sammy must be furious that yet again it's been allowed to happen. How many more times?

Unfortunately I didn't see the tackle you refer to but if it was anywhere as good as the one on Howe then all credit to him.

Funny this need for a scapegoat.

Danny Adams is the equivalent of Marmite. Luckily for him, Sammy loves him.

If I had to pick a scapegoat for the goal, it would have been Roche. If a keeper is going to commit himself to come out and get the ball, he needs to be sure he is going to get it.

Personally i thought Adams ok, better than i had expected. Yates played very well as did Mcstay imo who i thought could of received MOM.
Good goal by Taylor too, glad i had a fiver on him to score!

My invaluable insight into yesterdays performance ;)

Roche - 8. Didnt have an awful lot to do but made some good saves.
Adams - 6. Not a bad performance but not great.
Yates - 7. Decent performance, would like to see him brought back into things.
McStay - 6. Didnt really notice him.
Bentley - 7. Solid as ever.
Stanley - 6. Decent game, nothing spectacular.
Drummond - 6. Same as Stanley.
Curtis - 7. Worked hard.
Wainwright - 6. Did ok I thought but maybe lacked confidence.
Howe - 7. Worked hard.
Taylor - 7. Good goal, worked hard.

And...

Hunter - 6. Didnt notice him.
O'Carroll - 6. Nothing special, we need more from him.

Agree with most but think you been generous with some :-

Roche 7 - made a great treble save but went walkabouts again for the goal
Adams 6 - made some good tackles but got beat to many times and was at fault for their goal
Yates 7 - Closed down well worked hard and at times tried to overlap with the winger
McStay 7 - Solid game should be in the team
Jimbo 7 - Solid Game
Stanley 6 - Tried hard
Drummond 6 - Same as stanley
Curtis 7 - Worked hard especially in second half
Wainwright 4- Was he playing?
Howe 7 - Always digs deeps and fights for the ball
Taylor 7 - Good goal and showed some nice touches

Hunter - 6 - worked hard when he came on did more on the right than Wainwright had all game

O'caroll 5 - What's happened to him he seemed so slow their CB skinned him and seemed way off the pace
