They were on the old one! Fixtures as follows: BUT Barrow is next Tuesday as per post by MFC Chris
Yes the BBC must have made another mistake as per usual. Should of checked the official MFC site first...
The list of confirmed pre-season games to date are:
Tuesday, July 15: Barrow v Morecambe, 7.45pm
Wednesday, July 16: Burscough v Morecambe, 7.45pm
Saturday, July 19: Morecambe v Preston North End, 3pm
Saturday, July 26: Morecambe v Tranmere, 3pm
Saturday, August 2: Morecambe v Carlisle, 3pm

Ahh well, Hampshire tuesday night and driving back from Hampshire wednesday night. Might make Burscough if I can stay awake long enough and remember to pack the camera.

Many thanks for that info - slight omission from the new site.
I might be able to make one or two of the pre season games from sunny (not) Shropshire.

The least number of pre-season games for many a season.
With around 28 contracted players it's going to be a real juggling act to get them all relatively match fit.

They are on the home page of the site now. Tried to put them on the fixtures page but it won't let me.
I'll leave them high up the page.

Not sure about the date but I remember going to Donny towards the end of the 2002/2003 season. Both of us had already secured playoff spots and they played their second string whilst we put out a pretty much full strength side and we drew 1-1.

Silly me - anyway I've buggered it up now - I should of said when did we first play them. It was, according to 'The light at the end of the tunnel',
22nd July 1997 and Morecambe won 4-0.

The friendly against Carlisle doesn't seem to be confirmed in the article on the official site, is there a reason for this or has it just been missed off accidentally
EDIT: It is on there, just on a different article to the one I was looking at.
Kendal away has been added aswell.

A 'Morecambe XI' play Kendal. I assume that and Burscough will be mainly reserve games.
