I`ve recently come back from Belgium.
We set off on Thursday night after Fat Knackers club down to Dover at 10pm, got there for about 3am, slept for 1/2 an hour, got on the ferry with priority loading at 3.45am, found the VIP lounge, got complimentary drinks and eats, fell asleep, got woken up by the PA asking all drivers to return to their cars, drove for about an hour on the other end, pulled in at a service station, slept for an hour or so and then drove to our friends house near Leuven, arriving there at 10.30am - thus having the full day to enjoy.
On the way back, we got the 2pm ferry (should have been the 12 noon ferry, but there was a public transport strike in Belgium, making the journey back to Dunkerque a bit tight timewise and no matter how fast we drove, we weren`t really going to make it - but we had fun trying!) and we back home in Morecambe for just before 9pm - the cost (besides fuel) £79 including the VIP lounge and priority loading and unloading.
If you don`t mind driving, it`s well worth it (IMO).
