Because of the numerous players that have been in and out of the door, we found ourselves playing only 4 or so players on the pitch that were actually numbered 1 to 12. I know in the modern squad system you are never going to get 1 to 11 playing but interestingly numbers 2, 9 and 11 are now vacant.
In old money this represents a Right Back, a Centre Forward and a Wing Man which would definately be 3 positions for my shopping list in the next few weeks.

Isn't No2 a left back?

Number 3 also available which is traditionally a left back.

Yeah didn't mention 3 as we have Wilson/Cowps. Can't see existing players changing their numbers but you never know. Danny Adams did get No.3 when Michael Howard left, but nobody's managed to fill it since

On that basis Paz could wear 2,3,4,5 but the replica shirt would be rather expensive
