Yes, that's going to happen when there are Championship clubs looking at him and will no doubt command a six figure fee!

And a Spanish club!
I think the first signing will be someone who was with us until the end of this season either on loan or on a short term deal such as Kevan Hurst or Danny Carlton.

Surely Drummy was the first signing, well not surely, he actually was!
Maybe he doesn't qualify as "new"?

the money in wages just on Caphaldi Shuker Holdsworth Brown alone would surly pay £2000+ a week for a 20+ goal a season dangerman

Glad you put the "+" sign there, can't see any of them getting out of bed for £500 a week, particularly after 4 hours wasted time travelling!

I bet we saved a few quid on the win bonuses and goal scored bonuses last season!

Home: Coventry, Shrewsbury, Stevenage, Stockport, Port Vale.
Away: Bradford, Stockport, Chesterfield, Rotherham
9/50 18%
Plus the toilet paper in the Away dressing room, something that needs to be addressed next season!
2nd Player to sign is Niall Cowperthwaite. Great news on that one

Well here's my prediction....
Kevin Mcintyre. Out of contract at the end of the season, played alongside drummond at chester city and shrewsbury. A central midfielder who is a prolific penalty taker and can also play left back. A lot of experience at this level!

Really? Drummond was playing central midfield at the age of 36 this season.

The days of signing players over the age of 30 who will view us as a final pay day are long gone I think, especially ones who have just floated around League 2 for ages.

Whilst I think we need a bit more in midfield, laying the blame of last years results solely at
Drummy's door is a bit unfair

I'm not laying the blame at Drummy's door I am just saying that we don't need older players trying to run the midfield.
Drummy has been amazing for morecambe and fully deserves his new role at the club.

He is busy at the moment complaining about the price of his 16 available tickets for the champions league final at 225 quid each. Bearing in mind he has been paid circa 120 grand a week for not being involved in the matches very often I think that's taking the biscuit!
If players didn't receive such obscene wages the tickets wouldn't be so expensive in the first place

The way I read it he got them for free and was complaining of the general price of them? Which is worse!
