Gillingham on Saturday

AA autoroute say to go

M6, M1, M25 to junction 2,

A2 to A321 signposted Gillingham.

Taking around 5 hours. 290 miles.

If you're brave enough to make that epic trip, then make sure you get yourself to the club shop beforehand to buy a ticket.

Buying in advance says you £5, so well worth the effort :!:

May I make a suggestion?

M6,M42,M40,M25 (south, follow signs to Gatwick),A2, M2, turn of at junction 4 which is sign posted Gillingham and Ice rink.

This avoids the crap road works on the M1, which I've been stuck in a few times on a Saturday and will easily add upto 90 mins on the journey.

M6, A14, M11, M25, A2, M2 etc I always use that route, even though the A14 and some M11 is only dual carriageway I've hardly had any holdups ! the last time I used the M1 it took me 9 1/2 hours to get from Thanet to Southport

Why isn't this put on the website ? Thats a fair chunk of money saved if your buying 2 or 3. If your 'average' fan who may or may not come on SV hasn't chanced upon this info he's well out of pocket ????? :o This is the sort of info that needs plenty of publicity to aid those willing to make the journey.

Yes well "our friend" worked a night shift, I know I picked him up from work, before the 5 hour journey :?

Then, after 30 mins he muttered something or other I can't repeat on here, and went back to the bar :o :o
