No - Coleman wouldn't come, but if he did he wouldn't sack off his assistant Jimmy Bell.

Was just about to say where would Jimmy Bell fit into the equation ... !!

I always thought they came as a double act Sean ? Maybe not as close as we might get the impression then eh ?!

Hmmm, not so sure - two dominant Alpha males there !
Jimmy Bell is an excellent number two thats why Accy works
Mark Lillis is an excellent number two thats why Sammy & Mark work
Unfortunatly I could see potential fireworks between Jim and Coley unless they have excellent chemistry together both personally and tactically - not unlike the Gannon/Horsfield situation at Port Vale.
On the other hand I coulkd be totally wrong and it could be super dynamic - but can we afford Coley in any case ?
I can actually see Accy winning the play-offs on form in which case surely it would be highly unlikely in any case that he would miss L1 after all he has achieved with Stanley.
Are Accy over their financial woes yet with Ilyas Khan now on board ?

Punctuation, my dear.

(And no, that's not an Amir Khan reference).

Glenn, dear, you being once of journalistic tendencies should know "No." is not a sentence so I assumed it was an error

Being so hot on correct grammar, like.

It was an answer to a question and, therefore, didn't need to be a sentence.

I think it was Oscar Wilde who once said: "Ner, ner, stick it up your poo-pipe, Mick. yer gret nancy!"

Did Oscar Wilde know Mick then?

Allardyce is the next real Madrid manager, as he'll easily win la liga.
Ancellotti is going to be a free agent soon, or we could try sign the 'king' of the reds........kenny

Yes - surely the dream ticket for Morecambe fans?

Always hated the way most Morecambe fans turned on Colely once he left the club  . Reading the the book Sunset over Christie Park it sounded like he never wanted to leave. The man is every bit of a legend as Jim Bentley IMO and has become an even more successful manager managing a small squad on possibly the league's smallest budget.

Jim Bentley would be a natural No2 and feel he still has much to learn about management. Throw him in too early and it might go sour al-la Shearer at Newcastle.

My only concern is that they may be too similar. Both inspirational man-managers but maybe we need someone who brings high technology to the coaching side?

JC did definitely not want to leave, but JH dropped him for a Tuesday home match against Halifax.

my daughter and I spoke to him under the main stand that night and he was very upset, but vowed to return one day as manager.

whether his goals have changed by now I don't know, but for me he was a legend on the pitch, and I would love to have him back.

Can't understand all this clamour for JC when other than this season Accy have finished below us in the FL. I remember last season when Accy fans wanted him out.
