" In March of 2011 Thompson was embroiled in a series of serious allegations regarding the theft of Fig Roll biscuits from the Scunthorpe United tea ladys personal stock. He was later cleared as the culprit was discovered to be David Mirfin, who being unable to get his regular fix of Garibaldis had resorted to pilfering Phyllis' biscuit stocks. "MUST be true if it's on Wikipedia ....... !!!
